THE “SPILLA D’ORO” HAS LANDED IN CHINA

On March 24 a fact of great symbolic value happened. Olivetti, in the person of President David Olivetti and Vice-president Giuseppe Silmo has honored the President and major shareholder of the Company Pu-Ying Olicom, Mr. Zheng Zhigang, with the valuable “Spilla d’Oro”.

During the ceremony held under the statue of Camillo Olivetti in Ivrea, a thread of emotion has crossed all the partecipants. Mr. Zheng expressed great honor and appreciation for receiving this honourable award as a sign of gratitude for more than thirty years of successfull collaboration with Olivetti.

The cooperation of Mr. Zheng with Olivetti began when he founded the company Nantian Electronics, which has been producing and marketing the M24 personal computer for Olivetti in China for many years, and then continued successfully in subsequent years in the specialized printers business for banks.

In 2012 he founded the company Pu-Ying Olicom, specialised in printing business which in 2016 has taken over the Olivetti Banking and Postal line of business from Telecom Italia.
Pu-Ying Olicom is a piece of the genius and the Olivetti history that survives, and the "Spilla d’Oro Association" is proud to have Mr. Zheng among its valuable members.
